The short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't use advertising trackers, and we never sell your data.
Who we are
Slack Water is run by Tulang (Shanghai) Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (途浪(上海)数字科技有限责任公司), a company registered in Shanghai, China, which is the data controller for this site. Questions or requests go to adminer@tulangtech.cn.
What we collect
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address and when you confirmed it, so we can send the monthly email. Our legal basis is your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address from the list.
Usage statistics. We count page views with a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not track you across sites. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful.
Your settings. Your choice of °C/m or °F/ft is saved in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
We don't use cookies, advertising pixels or social media trackers.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site, send the newsletter and count visits, each under a data processing agreement. Some of them are outside your country; where that applies, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard. Links to dive operators or booking sites take you to their own sites and their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to adminer@tulangtech.cn and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
